Here is what is biting and where!  Oak Island, NC fishing charter boats have teh best chances of catching fish.  Because of our south facing beaches, we can usually find a good area to fish in almost any weather.  If the wind and seas are blowing one direction, the fishing and seas are in better conditions not too far away!

Scenic Boat Trips Oak Island, NC

Anyone looking for reduced priced fishing and scenic trips are welcome to come aboard to see the sights and such as we are watching the birds and the bait come in for the season.  It is important to me as a fisherman to watch and see where the bait and fish are coming in to the Southport and Oak Island area.  We fish in the Holden Beach and Carolina Beach areas also.

The scenic trips are nice this year too.  We are watching the birds behavior and other wildlife to see what to look for (I hear there are two more Bald Eagles in the area.  I saw three different birds on several trips!)

We make these trips every year to watch the bait, scenic observations, and to check depths of the water and to see sandbar changes.

Oak Island Fishing Charter trips are starting to pick up with the summer season hear in Oak Island, NC.  The Flounder bite has been good nearshore as well as the Spanish Mackerel and some Sharks.  Offshore the King Mackerel, Spanish, and Mahi Mahi have started biteing well.  The bottom fishing is starting to produce larger Black Bass and the Groupers too.
